Robin Berger

Robin Berger, originally from New York, specializes in show jumping and cross-country riding. Her equestrian journey began at the age of 5, inspired by her mother, an avid rider. Growing up, Robin watched her mother ride and compete, which fueled her early passion for riding. However, she took a break from riding during her youth and didn't return to it until she moved to Costa Rica.

In Costa Rica, Robin rediscovered her love for riding through trail riding, which quickly evolved into lessons and jumping. In 2013, she bought her first horse, Loui, and cherished every moment with him. Three years later, in 2016, Stella arrived at the barn. Robin knew instantly that Stella was meant to be her horse. Stella, a spirited red-headed mare, was barely ridden at the time. Transitioning from her older, smaller horse to a big, fast mare required time and patience. However, they eventually connected and began their journey of competing together. To this day, Robin and Stella continue to compete and enjoy every moment.

In 2024, Robin became the proud owner of an equestrian center in Guanacaste. Her goal is to keep the sport alive and growing in this small region of Costa Rica. Robin is dedicated to fostering a vibrant equestrian community and sharing her passion for riding with others.
